Tinnitus is a problem experienced mainly in western countries, but developping countries like China must also face a notable increase of younger and younger patients. It is now certain, that stress, muscle tension, trauma, bur also over-eating or poor diet are some of the factors that make tinnitus worse.
Since September Manuela Mazzoli, leader of the TRI workgroup "Nutritional Balance", has directed a research study in Italy on the techniques of reducing stress using Mindfulness (MBSR) techniques designed and adapted for people with tinnitus.
