Goals And Scope Of TRI Grants

TRI supports studies which focus on improving the treatment of tinnitus. Special emphasis lies on the development of innovative treatment methods. TRI expresses particular interest in identifying cures for tinnitus caused by traumatic incidents. A further goal is the identification of biomarkers and monitoring parameters relevant to tinnitus. These parameters should advance the diagnosis and management of distinct forms of tinnitus, e.g. by identifying subtypes of tinnitus which respond to specific treatments or by improving the objective assessment of treatment effects.

At the moment the grant program is suspended.
